Lumē · Light Meter

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 June 2026

The short version: Lumē collects nothing. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no servers. Everything happens on your device, and nothing ever leaves it.

1. Information we collect

None. Lumē Light Meter does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and the app does not create or require any account.

2. Camera

Lumē uses your device camera only to measure the brightness of the scene in front of you and calculate exposure values (EV, aperture, shutter and ISO). The camera feed is processed live, in real time, entirely on your device.

3. Data stored on your device

Your settings, calibration, and saved light readings are stored locally on your device only (in the app's own storage). They are never transmitted to us or any third party. Deleting the app removes this data.

4. Network & third parties

Lumē does not connect to the internet to function. There are no third-party services, trackers, or advertising networks embedded in the app.

5. Children's privacy

Lumē does not collect any data from anyone, including children. The app is rated suitable for all ages.

6. Purchases

Lumē is a one-time paid app. Any purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store; we never see or receive your payment details. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
